Copyright: The material offered
in pages of The BoardAgenda and other EDGEvantage services is
copyrighted and may not be reproduced in any form in print or
posted on electronic networks including the internet, in part
or in full, without the written consent of the publisher. We
do, however, encourage users of the site to send links to individual
articles to others they may think could benefit from it. While care is taken
that the information provided is accurate, the publisher urges
anyone using the information provided to take professional advice
before acting on it. The publisher is in no way responsible for
any losses of any type the user may incur as a result of using
this service. We frequently write about matters of concern to
financial markets, but under no circumstances is any of the information
in this service intended as investment advice. The service also
offers links to third-party sites. EDGEvantage claims no rights
over this third-party content nor in any way warrants its accuracy
or usefulness. These links are offered purely for informational
purposes. In particular, the publisher takes no responsibility
for any damages arising for absence of service or content from
links to third-party sites.
Terms and conditions: Paid subscriptions to the BoardAgenda and
other EDGEvantage services are personal and linked by the username/email
address to the individual. It is a condition of service that
subscribers keep their usernames and passwords confidential at
all times. Sharing of passwords is not allowed and EDGEvantage
reserves the right to terminate forthwith and without refund
access by any subscriber who it believes has violated the confidentiality
of the service. Subscribers who join on concessionary rates may
have their subscriptions to The BoardAgenda and other EDGEvantage
services curtailed on a pro rata basis if they cease to meet
the conditions of the concessionary rate. Subscribers paying
the full subscription rate using the online credit/debit card
facility will be notified by email of the need to renew their
subscription. Subscribers paying by credit or debit card offline
to take advantage of concessionary rates give EDGEvantage the
right to collect subscription renewals automatically, subject
to notice by email of its intention to do so. Subscribers paying
by invoice receive their subscription on the basis that it will
renew automatically at the end of the current subscription period
for a further 12 months unless EDGEvantage receives three months'
written notice by email or post. Invoices for renewals will be
sent approximately one month before the end of the current subscription
and are payable within 30 days of issue. The service is offered on an as is/as
available basis. EDGEvantage cannot ensure that any of the links
offered to third-party sites will redirect you to the documents
in question, as neither the files nor their locations are under
its control and use of or subscription to the service is in no
way dependent on these links functioning in part or in full.
EDGEvantage will not accept applications from subscribers for
refunds for unexpired portions of subscriptions as long as the
service itself remains in operation. If,
owing to reasons of incapacity or force majeure or other reason,
EDGEvantage, its editor and publisher cease to publish the briefing
service, subscribers may apply in writing for a refund on a pro
rata basis for any unexpired amount of the annual subscription
charge, calculated on the basis of monthly briefings already
delivered. Any
changes to the terms of the service will be posted here. Please
be sure to check this page any time you use the site. EDGEvantage
is based in London and all use of the site is subject to the
laws of England and Wales.
Privacy
policy:
EDGEvantage respects the privacy of users and does not sell or
lease its subscriber database to third parties and will not disclose
personal information to any third parties unless specifically
authorised to do so by you or unless required to do so by law.
We may occasionally contact subscribers and those registered
for free access on behalf of third parties. Subscribers may opt
out of receiving such communications at any time either at registration
or by updating their account details. Organizations subscribing
to The BoardAgenda and other EDGEvantage services on behalf of
their employees or members bear responsibility for ensuring they
have the appropriate permission to supply personal information
to EDGEvantage. Visitors (i.e. non-subscribers) are encouraged
to register to receive a free email advisory about updates to
the site. As a condition for receiving the free service they
give EDGEvantage the right to use their details in its general
mailings - including electronic mail - to EDGEvantage users.
Subscribers may alter the personal details on the "your
account" page of the service. Visitors to the site may alter
any personal details they leave on the site by resubmitting their
request for the free email service. The publisher reserves the
right to refuse subscriptions or registrations for the free email
advisory service at its sole discretion. Data is collected in
both free and subscriber access to the site, some of which is
of a personal nature. These data may be stored on computers outside
the European Union.
